Mighty Michelle & Obesity

Mrs. Obama wants to attack child obesity. Don't get me wrong; I am all for children not being obese. I just think it is not the government's business to intrude. But, then again, the current administration feels it has the right to interfere in every aspect of our lives. Taking away sodas and vending machines is not the answer.
Children need to be more active. Why don't parents try limiting internet, video games, xboxes, etc. and have children actually go outside and be active? Remember those days? That was the reason we had very few obese children. We went outside and rode bikes, played ball, built forts, etc. Schools are not letting children play dodgeball for fear of someone getting hurt. Are you kidding me? My childhood friends and I wrecked on our bikes, played dodgeball and many other games without any of us losing life or limb. Do you really want Washington mandating what you feed your children? We had sodas, dessert and candy without obesity, because we went outside and played, instead of sitting our butts in front of television or the computer.
